Mormons believe…

Mormons believe the oldest lie in the Book: that man can be like God. To them, God is just a flesh-and-bones man who was exalted to godhood: “As man is, God once was. As God is, man may become.”

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

  1. What did God repent of having done? Did He say it was a sin? Or did He just repent because His created man was not faithful and chose to try his freedom to test Gods word and go into opposition by learning about good and bad by himself, thus leaving Gods guidance and thus had to be saved from death by Gods sacrifice? Was it not this fact that was hard to bear even for God, to have been mistrusted without reason? He had hoped Humanity would have chosen the path of trust and faithfulness that was the other alternative… All this made him have a regret – So it seems not to be repentance from having sinned but repentance from having to suffer and having to teach a reluctant being…. I now ask about your article: Why are you so narrow minded?

  2. April says:

Psalms 82:6. I have said , Ye are gods ; and all of you are children of the most High. Can you explain what that means ? Also Titus 2:12 Teaching us that , denying ungodliness and worldly lusts , we should live soberly, righteously, and GODLY, in this present world. Leviticus 11:44 ye shall be holy ; for I am holy. If we cannot be holy as God is , why would he have commanded Israel to be as he was ? I think your time would be better spent focusing on what God’s perfect will for us is , then speaking of thing’s that are not understood .
