Prophecies are fascinating.

While prophetic interpretations are fascinating, don’t let them become a distraction from your commission—to preach the gospel to every creature (see Mark 16:15). We have too many who run from conference to conference, filling their minds with theories to a point where they have neither time nor concern for those who could be snatched any moment into eternal damnation.

Daniel 9:27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.

  1. I think it’s all in how we keep it in balance – if we understand that we may vanish from this earth at any minute, and that billions face horrific events over the next seven years after that, it hastens our desire to pass a tract and share the gospel.
