Be a servant, fear the Lord.

The key to being heard by God is to be a servant who delights in the fear of the Lord. Jesus was heard in that He feared: “who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear” (Heb. 5:7).

Nehemiah 1:11 O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the kings cupbearer.

    Proverbs 28:9
One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination.

    1 John 5:1-3
